The Brady-Belichick bond

Leaving the Patriots after spending nearly two decades fueled rumors that Brady’s relationship with Belichick was falling out. When Brady posted around 100 photos after announcing his retirement in February, Belichick was nowhere to be seen in any of them. This added more fuel to the rumors about their stressed bond. But they seem to be on good terms, as the 45-year-old went on to heap praise on his former HC during a recent interview with ESPN. He also stated that when he won the Super Bowl 2020 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Belichick was the first person to text him a congratulatory message. Prior to this in February, when the HC made an appearance on his ‘Let’s Go’ Podcast, Belichick spoke highly of his former QB in the podcast.
