The crypto hype had a lot of celebrities talk about it. It led to some athletes making use of virtual currency. Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen joined hands with FTX, a leading crypto venture. But after the massive buyout and the company filing for bankruptcy, several people are wondering how much it affected the former couple’s $650 Million combined net worth.

As per Forbes’ Chase Withorn, as of June 2021, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen each held 0.15% and 0.09% of FTX, respectively. It is unknown how much money the ex-couple put into their shareholdings. Brady’s estimated stake was worth $45 million before cryptocurrency prices fell. On the other hand, Bündchen’s stakes were valued at $25 million.

Apart from the equity stake, the Buccaneers QB was also the venture’s brand ambassador. He appeared in FTX’s commercials and was the face of the organization. His ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, was also a part of the Bahamian crypto firm as the Environmental & Social Initiatives advisor. Both of them had active roles in the firm.
