Rob Gronkowski is one of the best teammates Tom Brady has ever had. He is considered one of the best tight ends to have played the game. When Gronk retired, it was one of the saddest moments to see such a great duo being separated. However, Gronk seems to have a very interesting proposition for Tom Brady whenever he retires. This time, he has another idea.

In an interview, Gronk talked about wanting to team up with his all-time favorite teammate again. He talks about taking the booth at Fox Studio with commentating and analyzing aspects of the game.

Rob Gronkowski and Brady: The Iconic Duo

Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady are arguably one of the most iconic duos to ever play the game. For the Patriots as well as for the Buccaneers, the duo scored and won championships in their typical fashion. So naturally, watching Gronk leave the sport was hard for fans. However, there might be a chance we see the two suit up. Only this time, they might be in suits and not playing uniforms.

In an interview with USA Today Sports,  Gronk mentioned that he would love to see a team-up with Brady in the studio. Being a great analyst of the game, Gronk spoke about the immense knowledge that Brady has. He also spoke about how he would love to see Brady as a commentator and Gronk as an analyst. He said, “You know he’s a commentator, I’m an analyst we’re going back and forth a little bit to each other that would be a lot of fun. He’d be talking his football knowledge he’s got incredible football knowledge and um it’s just it’s just going to be wonderful once he gets to the fox studio.”

Gronk on his own retirement

During his interview, Gronk also talked about him coming back to the game to help Brady in one of his worst seasons ever. When asked, Gronk mentioned that he can see Brady might need help but his stance on coming back was clear. He ratified this and said, “I’m just not playing so you can’t that’s not a possibility.”

Gronk was certainly one the best teammates to ever play with Brady. However, the question that remains is how would this season fare for Brady if he was there on the field with him?
