Fans react to a statement about Sean McVay

Senior NFL Reporter Albert Breer made a few statements that questioned McVay’s future in the league. Breer spoke of the Rams’ main stars when he was featured on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’. The reporter is of the belief that McVay’s tenure with the team is dependent on the presence of certain key players.

These players include defensive tackle Aaron Donald, quarterback Matthew Stafford, CB Jalen Ramsey, and wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

Is McVay going to retire?

Speaking of the Rams’ current view and their core players, Breer said, “Sean McVay’s future with the team is probably tied to those four guys. And, in all likelihood, when those guys are gone, McVay is going to be gone, too.”

Breer also spoke of the Rams’ possible notion on the matter. He thinks that they will try to maximise what they have right now. McVay has previously commented on the longevity of his career. Speaking to Rich Eisen, the 36-year-old said that he doesn’t know if he sees himself in the same job until he’s 70.

Currently, in third place behind the Seahawks and 49ers in the NFC West, the Rams will hope to bring back some of the magic from last season. They will next face a struggling Tampa Bay squad, who are currently at 3-5.
