The Let’s Go podcast got a bit more introspective this week. As Tom Brady and Jim Gray talked about different emotions Brady experienced as an athlete, they also spoke about his long career. The duo discussed the different perspectives Brady has been able to amass throughout his career.
Brady spoke about different emotions that accompany losses and wins. He mentions the way in which people react when he’s winning and when he’s losing games. While explaining his perspective, he said, “it’s lonely when you lose. No one wants to be a part of that. You’re you know, you’re sitting there by yourself.” He spoke about the true loneliness he had felt whenever he lost games. Brady also spoke about the continuity that his time in the league has granted him. He has had to garner an attitude of looking to the next day. His statement was a testament to this when he said, “you know you just wake up every day the next day the sun’s gonna come up and you got to do the best you can do the next day that’s just the way we have to deal with life.” Brady also spoke about the good luck he has had in the league.
