ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington reported that Tom Brady has planned to retire from the NFL after a legendary career that spanned 22 years. Brady later denied the news of his retirement, turning it into nothing but a rumor. Brady’s father Tom Brady Sr. told KRON4 that the retirement news is just a rumor and his son is not retiring from football.

Tom Brady has reportedly contacted the Buccaneers general manager Jason Litch and stated that he still hasn’t decided. According to Adam Schefter, Brady‘s agent, Don Yee, also stated that only the quarterback knows about his retirement plans. Don said that Brady knows the football business and its realities, so the only person who can speak accurately about his retirement is him. Therefore, it is impossible to draw definite conclusions about the end of a 22-year legendary career.
