Tom Brady didn’t want his kids to have divorced parents

Divorce can be hard for any couple. But it is always harder for the children and Tom Brady understands that. According to a report, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star did not want his children to go through the ordeal.

The report has cited sources close to TB12 and said that he didn’t want his children to have divorced parents. So, he tried to patch things up with Gisele Bündchen. But it was already too late for that. The couple has two children, a 12-year-old son Benjamin, and a 9-year-old daughter Vivian. The couple has agreed to joint custody of the children. Brady has another son from a previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan, the 15-year-old Jack.

After the divorce, Brady will stay in Tampa Bay, whereas Bündchen will move four hours away to Miami.

The couple’s divorce

The problems between the couple reportedly started when Tom Brady decided to end his retirement and return to the NFL. The seven-time Super Bowl champion announced his retirement at the end of the 2021 season. He wanted to spend time with his family. But he could not remain away from the football field and came back in just over a month. Bündchen was reportedly not happy with this decision, as she thought Brady was prioritizing his NFL career over his family.

Amid all this, his Tampa Bay Buccaneers are struggling on the field. The team has lost three straight games and has a 3-5 record after eight games. They are second on the NFC South divisional table behind the 4-4 Atlanta Falcons.

If this slump continues, an eighth Super Bowl ring seems a long shot. The fans want to see the GOAT dictating the play and splitting open the opposing defenses. Anything less than that is lower than the high standards he has set during his career.
