Tom Brady may not be a Buccaneer next year. Ten years ago, franchises would do anything to re-sign the all-time great Super Bowl champion. However, at 45, Brady’s choices are not all-encompassing. The Bucs might not renew his contract after the average season he is enjoying and with the rumored troubles brewing between Brady and his coaching staff.
According to Washington Post’s La Canfora, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has more than a few championship-winning destinations to choose from. This includes the 49ers, the Raiders, and the Miami Dolphins. For some, the Dolphins are the best fit for TB12, considering the lethal receiving threat on the offense. And this speculation is mainly because of a supposed rift between Brady and Bucs’ offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich.

Byron and Brady are allegedly following different game plans. Both of them discarded the rumors, with TB12 even refusing to dignify the reporter’s question. However, that is not reason enough for Tom to stick around at 45.
As per Canfora, the Dolphins will give a stage to a much-awaited two-game yearly matchup between Brady and his former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. However, Tom Brady has always been a fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Since he was a child, he wanted to follow Joe Montana and Steve Young’s steps in the sands of history. However, the Niners never signed him and Brady kept the Super Bowls away from the Bay Area as revenge.
Will the 49ers reach their Super Bowl ambitions with Tom Brady?
San Francisco had the opportunity to land five-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady when the legendary quarterback left the Foxborough area after 19 years and six Super Bowl championships. However, the Niners thought Brady was too old and the Super Bowl GOAT proved everyone wrong, winning his seventh ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021.
And this season has gone well for the 49ers until QB Jimmy Garoppolo’s season-ending injury. The Niners do have Trey Lance and the franchise gave up a lot, including two first-round picks to acquire the superstar college QB. And in Lance’s absence, Brock Purdy has done exactly what Brady did back in his first few games for the Patriots. ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ Purdy has been clutching right from the start, winning his first NFL game against Brady and Co. in dominating fashion. But TB12 can give them a Super Bowl. Something the 49ers have been yearning for a long time.
Derek Carr couldn’t take the Las Vegas Raiders to the playoffs despite having Davante Adams to aid him. And the black and silver army could also welcome Brady and surely Tom won’t have his present receiving troubles with Adams. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Julio Jones haven’t stepped up and TB12 may not have enough time to stick around.
