Undrafted rookie top prospect acquisitions of the New Orleans Saints were intriguing. Those defensive backs are far from certain to make the team, let alone get significant playing time. With the draft completed, free agency will again be a thriving business for sure.

Tyrann Mathieu and the Saints have already met. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he expects the team to restart its recruitment of the Pro Bowl safety now that the draft is over. And we don’t have to wait long for this to happen. The Saints have plenty of salary room and, given their lack of draft activity, they could make a serious approach to Tyrann Mathieu.
