The new Chargers CB is coming off a career-high 58 total tackles and eight interceptions in 2021 and was second in the league behind only Cowboys‘ Trevon Diggs. A defensive juggernaut, Jackson teams up with Mack both of whom will be nightmarish for any opposing offense. The trio of Joey Bosa, Khalil Mack, and JC Jackson will push the Chargers to make a deep playoff run.
Los Angeles Chargers making strides in the ever-changing AFC West Division
Jackson is emerging quickly as one of the top players in his position. He went undrafted during the 2018 NFL Draft. There is no other player who has made more interceptions than his tally of 25 over the past four NFL seasons. The opportunity came for him after the Patriots opted against using the franchise tag to retain him in 2022.

Jackson’s stock was always high on the open market as he was also ranked the No. 2 player available on Gregg Rosenthal’s Top 101 NFL free agents of 2022.
The team has gone from strength to strength and looks determined to keep searching for more players.
The former Patriots CB will be hoping to compete against some of the best teams in their division. He will be coming up against extraordinary QBs like Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Derek Carr. The Chargers will be hoping that his acquisition gives them an edge against them as they set their sights to win the AFC conference.
