Former NFL WR Antonio Brown will not take a backseat following his departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The GTA meme of ‘Ah s**t here we go again‘ will be perfect for something that continues to come back repeatedly. Almost two months following his exit, Brown revealed some of the MRI scans of his ankle injury. He continued with potshots at his former teammate QB Tom Brady and head coach Bruce Arians.

Brown once again made claims about the incident while claiming that he had to play injured. He took to social media on Monday and gave his version of how he felt a sense of betrayal. While talking about Brady, AB states, “Sent me out there after knowing I was still hurt. Tom [Brady] said he would throw it if I came to play hurt. I came. He didn’t throw it. Imagine being hurt having to play through this and being lied [to].

While talking about coach Arians, he claims he was specifically told to play even if he was injured. He also seems to think that the league is involved with the franchise and together they are out to get him. It seems the Buccaneers fans are going to go in circles with an incident that is far from resolution in the eyes of AB.

Antonio Brown holding on to his claims

The Buccaneers franchise indeed cut Brown from their roster after his on-field antics. The franchise’s move seems to have drawn the ire of AB, who looked like moving on to life after football. He had made appearances on different podcasts and tried to make his narrative of events public. Brown has been quite flip-flop about QB Brady and changed his perspective about him from time to time.

During his Full Send podcast appearance, he stated that the Hall of Famer was his best friend because of AB’s prowess in the WR position. He believed Brady had always been exploitative and could have helped him get him a better payday. Another issue that AB has with the $200,00 offer that the Buccaneers franchise made for his mental health treatment.

It seems to be a never-ending and dragged-out saga for the Buccaneers franchise. The recent revelations by AB have given the NFL fans something to ponder while also keeping the wideout relevant. With his NFL future up in the air, proving his innocence seems to be his way of making any comeback. Despite the action being more self-serve, it makes NFL fans wonder how franchises deal with injured athletes.
