Julio Jones is on his way out of Atlanta. The Falcons wide receiver recently made it abundantly clear that his future in the NFL is far away from the Big Peach.

The franchise, too, recently stated that they would be willing to hear offers for their star wideout. Jones, drafted by the franchise with their first-round pick back in 2011, has been a standout performer for the Falcons over the years.

Earning seven Pro Bowl call-ups and two All-Pro selections, Julio Jones is simply among the best in the business. Thus, it is only natural for the Falcons to get plenty of calls from interested franchises.

With no firm favorite yet to emerge, a recent report suggests that a new team has entered the mix. The Seattle Seahawks

“The Falcons continue to field calls from teams interested in trading for Julio Jones. The Seahawks have had discussions about a possible trade with Atlanta, per sources,” Russini said via a tweet.

The reporter even claims that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has talked to Jones about a possible switch up north.

“In fact, QB Russell Wilson & Julio Jones have spoken to discuss the possibility of playing together.”

The Falcons are reportedly looking for a first-round pick in exchange for Jones. While some teams are holding out, a franchise has reportedly contacted Atlanta with an offer to match.

The Seahawks, though, might not be able to match such an offer. The side has no first-round pick for the 2022 NFL Draft. But given how things have panned out over the past few weeks, the franchise might be forced to make do with a second-round pick.

The thought of seeing Russell Wilson and Julio Jones linking up is one that would leave Seahawks fans drooling. Adding Jones alongside DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett would make the Seahawks wide receiver corps one of the best in the league.
