The game between the Colorado Buffaloes and the State Rams just wrapped up after some noisy circumstances. The match-up got people talking about the build-up more than the game itself. But the Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is not fazed by the noise around and already has his sight set on the bigger picture.
The game was more of a personal battle for Shedeur than anything else. Before the game, Rams coach Jay Norvell questioned the Buffaloes coach Deion Sander’s manners, which didn’t go down well at the Boulder camp. But in the post-game interview, Sander’s son Shedeur seemed pretty chill about it. He also did look to have his own takeaways from the game itself.

Talking to ESPN’s Stan Verrett, Shedeur talked about having more focus on the upcoming games. Despite being 3-0 in the current NCAA season, the QB still remains skeptical about the future.
“Really just focus more that’s it. We came out here we wasn’t all the way locked in I could say to where we were busting on simple plays, and we can’t afford to do that. Especially these next two weeks in each another game. Every game we can’t do that, so it’s just something like really for me to focus on and for the team to focus on and take everything serious for the remainder of the Season”, Shedeur said.
Shedeur indicated the fact that Buffaloes were still giving away the balls in crucial positions and couldn’t afford to do so in every game. And they were down by 11 points in the fourth quarter but turned it around. Shedeur also mentioned the loss of wide receiver Travis Hunter, who was taken to the hospital after a violent hit. “Losing Travis, that really hurt me. Like if you see the play that happening you know I was feeling very hurt because that’s my brother right there.”, he said.

Shedeur’s ‘Brady mode’ to save the day
In the interview, Shedeur further revealed that Tom Brady has been a mentor to him. When asked about his last touchdown in the regulation time, he replied “Our last thing was Brady mode, that’s it, simple.”
“We talk after every game”, Shedeur added. “It’s Brady mode. If he could do it, I know I could do it. You know, we just alike”, he joked.
While things are running smoothly for the Buffaloes at the moment, they can’t count on Shedeur’s ‘Brady Mode’ every single game. That’s why Coach Prime would like to have a table talk with the players to investigate existing errors. Buffaloes now face a big challenge in Oregon Ducks, in their next game on 24 September. With WR Travis Hunter already out, the Buffaloes have to set the physical aspect of the game high early on as the Ducks are known for their toughness on the pitch.
