Single comedian hits on Tom Brady

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ start of the season was quite shaky. After winning three out of the first five games this season, the Bucs lost the next three on the bounce. The team looked all over the place. In the meantime, team QB Tom Brady finalized his divorce with supermodel Gisele Bündchen after 13 years of marriage. Since then, the Buccaneers’ season is back on track.

The team has won two straight games since Brady and Bündchen announced their divorce. And a single comedian is using it to hit on the now-single NFL legend. “FACT: Tom Brady is undefeated since being single again, and so am I,” comedian Kate Quigley tweeted.

Indeed, he is, but it is difficult to pinpoint his divorce as the reason for it, isn’t it? But whatever may be the case, Quigley is happy that Brady is back in form. And so are the NFL fans.

The end of Brady’s marriage 

The first reports about the potential divorce between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen came early last month. The reports said that the couple did not agree on Brady’s future course of action as a football player. Bündchen wanted Brady to retire from the NFL. She was not happy that Brady had to be away from the family most of the time due to his career commitments. The seven-time Super Bowl champion announced his retirement from professional football at the end of the 2021 season. But he returned and announced that he will play again for the Bucs. And it turned south fast between the couple. Both agreed to an amicable parting of ways. They announced their decision in separate statements at the end of last month.

At the time of the divorce, the Bucs had a 3-5 record with eight games of the season played. Their season was in jeopardy. But since then, the Bucs have won two games on the bounce. Their first win came against the reigning Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Rams in week nine. They then went to Germany to beat the Seattle Seahawks in week 10. Brady showed why he is still the best in both of those games.

Can the Bucs carry on the momentum to make it all the way this season?
