In a recent list compiled by Forbes, Dallas Cowboys were ranked as the most expensive sporting organization in the world. This is the second consecutive time that the Jerry Jones-owned NFL franchise has bagged that honor. However, despite their financial might, the Cowboys have failed to make a mark in the NFL for the last two decades.
In fact, the last time that the Dallas-based franchise made the Super Bowl was back in 1996. But that could soon change this year. The Cowboys’ Chief Operating Officer/ Executive Vice President – Stephen Jones – remains optimistic ahead of the start of the 2020 season.

“We feel so good about this football team in general. But I must say, with jumping on CeeDee Lamb in the first round, that this receiving corps is going to be something else.”
“I know Dak [Prescott] has thrown with them in the offseason with CeeDee, with Michael Gallup and [Amari] Cooper and the rest of the crew. I think it’s a very unique receiving corps. I don’t think we’ve seen anything like it. Our fans haven’t seen anything like it in terms of the depth that we have and the weapons that these three guys represent,” Jones told the team’s official website via NFL.
Lamb, Gallup, and Cooper will obviously be huge assets for Cowboys QB – Dak Prescott heading into the 2020 season.

It’s been a topsy-turvy offseason for Jerry Jones and his Dallas Cowboys franchise. The Dak Prescott contract-extension saga was one of the major stories over the last few months. Both parties failed to reach an agreement before the deadline. Prescott will now play on a $31.4 million franchise tag this year.
