“Ready to Dish Out Some Pain”: 585-Pound Beatdown by Saquon Barkley Has Former NFL QB Squealing Like a Teenager

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has once again set the internet abuzz with his relentless dedication to his offseason training. Barkley, known for his awe-inspiring strength, recently shared a video showcasing a mind-boggling 585-pound squat, leaving social media in awe. Barkley took to his social media platforms to provide a glimpse of his awe-inspiring feat. 

Saquon Barkley smoothly lifted the massive weight with astonishing ease. Apparently, former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III couldn’t contain his awe upon witnessing Barkley’s incredible feat. Griffin took to his own social media accounts and shared his reaction to the video, further cautioning the NFL teams for a tough time from Barkley in the upcoming season.  

Robert Griffin III goes crazy over Barkley

RGIII, the Heisman trophy winner, reacted to Barkley’s video of showing impeccable strength. He shared his reaction through a video on Twitter saying, “Saquon Barkley loading up for a BIG YEAR. Definitely one of the most exciting players in the NFL with the ball in his hands”. The former quarterback has already showcased one of his promising picks for the 2023 season.

In the reaction video of Griffin, RGIII says, “What the he-man is going on here? Saquan Barkley with this ridiculous workout. How many plates is that? One, two, three, four. I don’t know how many plates it is”. By addressing the impeccable strength of Barkley, he warned the NFL teams by stating  “Oh he is ready to dish out some pain on the defenses this year. And that should make football fans extremely happy because this guy is one of the most exciting players in the NFL with the ball in his hands”.

Griffin is optimistic about Saquon Barkley. However, the recent tiff between Barkely and New York Giants related to the contract is being surfaced, stating that the franchise and the RB are not able to reach the middle ground with their contract negotiations. Barkley and the Giants have until July 17 to find the middle ground with the contract, or the RB will play the 2023 season with the $10.1 million franchise tag.

Saquon Barkley’s tiff with the Giants

Following the contract dispute with the Giants. Barkley can opt out of the season in case he doesn’t get the desired amount, to which he said, “We got a little bit of time in between there. When that date comes up, then I’ll have to sit down with my team, sit down with my family and make decisions. See what we’re going to do. What’s the next game plan? What’s the next move?” 

Barkley has been promising as a running back for the New York Giants. He has managed 10 TDs, and 1312 rushing yards for the Giants in the 2022 season. Moreover, Giants’ desire to make things work is clearly visible. If Barkley stays with the Giants, then Daniel Jones and Barkley can be a promising duo for the Giants.
