The world’s richest man Elon Musk just bought one of the biggest social media platforms, Twitter. Apart from other celebrities, it seems the NFL players are also overjoyed with the news. After Tom Brady, who recently requested Musk to delete his NFL Combine photo from the platform, Baltimore Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey is now surprising fans with his comments.

As the Twitter acquisition news broke out, Ravens’ cornerback tweeted extending his support for Musk’s free speech campaign.

Marlon Humphrey heaps of praises for Elon Musk

In one of the biggest tech deals, Elon Musk finally takes control of Twitter. Some prominent names from the NFL are expressing their happiness on the same. On April 25th, Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey had an interesting tweet for his fans. “Even if you want to tweet something disrespectful, crazy, or even lie. I think you should be able to tweet it…” Humphrey tweeted.

To some extent, even fans acknowledged his ideology and voted for the free speech campaign. However, it would be interesting to see how Musk will utilize the opportunity to practically execute the agenda.

For the past few years, the Billionaire has been battling for absolute free speech on the platform. He blamed Twitter and its policies for not being fair to the principle of free speech.

Now the company is privatized with more flexibility for its owners. Tom Brady was another personality who caught the attention of fans. The elite quarterback had a strange request for Elon Musk.

He asked the Billionaire to delete his old NFL Combine photograph which is frequently circulating in the media world as meme material. However, Musk was not the owner of the company at that time. But things have changed now.

Musk offered a lucrative deal to acquire the social media platform

On April 25th, the acquisition news started appearing on all the media sources. Musk acquired the social media platform for $44 Billion with shares valued at $54.20. A few days ago, he proposed the bid in front of the public, calling it the ‘best and final offer’ from his side. Interestingly, he was the same man who asked the price of Twitter, five years down the line, he just bought it.

According to a news outlet, on December 21, 2017, Musk casually tweeted “I love Twitter”. A Twitter user then suggested that Musk should simply buy the whole company, to which Musk replied “How much is it?.”
