The Baltimore Ravens’ QB Lamar Jackson received a lot of flack this offseason. Jackson missed the voluntary OTAs stirring up rumors across the NFL community. His contract situation has been an ongoing debate, but a lot of senior quarterbacks also opt out of the voluntary OTAs. However, he quashed the rumors by appearing at the mandatory minicamp.
As the contract negotiations are underway, the QB seems to be focused on his work ethic and his game. Jackson reported to Under Armour Performance Center on the first day for QBs and injured veterans to report. It looks like the fuss around contract extension is not bothering the Ravens’ QB.

In addition, the QB is hoping to have a blockbuster season with the Ravens after putting on more muscle in the offseason. He ended up missing the last season because of an ankle injury. He couldn’t do anything about the Ravens falling out of the playoff run.
Lamar Jackson and the ever-growing QB Market
Reporting to the training camp is a significant statement. Jackson is shutting his critics down by appearing to the training camp without a final contract extension deal on the table. His contract woes have been revolving in the media for a long time and the QB is looking to settle it once and for all.
