The Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award, AKA the ESPYs, is the perfect stage to see top-tier athletes in one place. It is probably the only event where they take their jerseys off and put on some nice tux and dresses. Every year’s host is unique, and this year was no stranger. NBA Icon Steph Curry set himself loose with some quips and made remarks towards a living legend, Tom Brady.

The offseason this year had every NFL fan holding their breaths. They saw the retirement of Tom Brady and a retreat just 41 days after. It puzzled several viewers why will TB12 chose to step down to be back. However, Steph Curry may have the answer, which is just as crazy as it sounds.
The ESPYS 2022 opened with Steph Curry as the host. He delivered a humorous monologue as the event began. Curry continues by saying he knows why quarterback Tom Brady came out of retirement after having three children’s birthdays in two weeks.
“… After celebrating three kids’ birthdays in two weeks, I finally understand why Tom Brady keeps coming back to work. Relaxation sometimes is exhausting,” Curry jokingly said.

“Tom Brady speaking of, he’s the only guy I know on Earth who’d rather get hit by Aaron Donald than hang out with a supermodel. We all make choices. Sometimes you don’t understand some of them.”
This year, Tom Brady will go head-to-head alongside the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and make a run for the Lombardi for the second time in three years. If his current contract is any proof, it could be his last season. However, Tampa Tom’s mind could be subject to changes.

When Tampa Tom came out of retirement, several enthusiasts believed him to make a fairytale ending to his career. That being, winning the Super Bowl for the eighth time. Additionally, his path to the trophy looked easy, but there were looming concerns. One of them came true; His BFF, TE Rob Gronkowski, chose retirement over playing another season, and he will abide by it this time.
Mandatory minicamp was nearly SIX weeks ago. He admitted to weighing 240-something. I asked a coach if he was more like 250-something. His response was “more.” That weight is likely gone.

Moreover, Rick Stroud claimed the Bucs were unhappy with Leonard Fournette because of his excessive weight in his Sports Day Tampa Bay podcast. However, according to TMZ, the RB refutes any claims to the contrary. It might be a sign of relief for Brady, who won’t be satisfied until he hoists the Lombardi high in the air this year.
