Indeed, it was a big loss for the Packers’ offense and Aaron Rodgers to lose a long-time buddy. When asked about his dilemma, Cobb has a straightforward response to the media’s questions.

In a recent press conference, Cobb was facing questions about Adams’s departure and the impact that has created on the team. During his departure, Cobb honored his friend with a heartfelt goodbye on Instagram, featuring a slideshow of the receiving duo’s best moments.

What did Randall Cobb have to say about Davante Adams’s departure?

Taking to Twitter, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky was the first person to disclose the news. When Cobb was asked about how he’s doing without Davante Adams, he made a blunt response without a second thought. “He’s still alive, you know that, right? This is a businessman. If we haven’t realized that yet, then what are we doing?…” Cobb replied, according to Rob Demovsky.

“Everything good comes to an end whether you’re ready. Things happen in life. Life is bigger than football. We have lives outside of this game and sometimes life brings us in different directions. We’re human. We make decisions.” the wide receiver added to his statement.

When Adams got drafted into the Packers in 2014, Cobb was already a member for three years. However, when he met Cobb for the first time, Admas assumed that he(Randall Cobb) was a seasoned wideout who was ’ten years into his NFL career. But in reality, Cobb was just in his fourth season.

The elite wide receiver began his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers in 2014. He was a second-round pick in that year’s draft. Adams played in 116 games with 109 starts in eight seasons from 2014 to 2021 with the Packers.

“It’s never easy moving on from a player and person the caliber of Davante Adams. We have so much respect for all that Davante gave on and off the field during his eight seasons in Green Bay as he was integral to all that we’ve accomplished,” said Brian Gutekunst (Green Bay Packers GM) while announcing his trade this off-season.

Admas got traded to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first-round pick (No. 22 overall) and a second-round pick (No. 53 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft. Well, it would be exciting to see how the Packers unlock their fortune in the upcoming seasons by having Adams on the roster for the first time in eight years.
