The Green Bay Packers are going to face off against the LA Rams on the upcoming week’s edition of Monday Night Football. As of now, every game both teams play is crucial. The Packers and the Rams have both picked up more losses than wins. Therefore, this edition of MNF will hold a lot of significance. However, with Aaron Rodgers on one side, the game will not be easy for the Rams. This seems like something even Rams’ linebacker, Bobby Wagner, agrees with.

During a press conference, Wagner spoke about what makes Rodgers a tough opponent to face.

Ahead of their game against the Packers, Bobby Wagner and Sean McVay spoke to the press. There were conversations between the players and the press regarding playing A-Rod’s team. They spoke about the enjoyment there is in facing the Packers.

The star linebacker talked about how playing against Rodgers is like playing a game of chess, per The Rams Wire. Wagner mentioned how it was really fun for him to play against the kind of quarterbacks who make you think. His exact words were, “Whenever you play a quarterback like him, it’s just fun to play against because it’s really like chess.”

During the press conference, the linebacker also spoke about how the team prepares to face an opponent like Green Bay. Wagner also talked about the reasons he thinks that Rodgers is a great quarterback.

Prepping to play the Packers

Wagner shed some light on how he prepped to play against the Packers. He mentioned that the best way to prepare was to look at what mistakes the Packers will be looking to exploit this week, based on last week. Wagner praises the brains Rodgers has on the field. He said, ” He’s smart enough, and that staff is smart enough to attack our defense in the run game and in the pass game in areas that we needed to improve on.”
