Veteran linebacker Will Compton is moving to Las Vegas after being signed by the Raiders, the club announced on Tuesday. Although not everyone seems to be happy with this move of the linebacker. Since according to Compton, Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has unfollowed him from social media.

The AFC West franchise has again signed in Compton just like they did in 2019. When late in the season, he was attained by the Oakland Raiders to play the remaining games with them.

Patrick Mahomes unfollows Will Compton

The Raiders re-sign Will since their Sunday’s loss against Washington was not just humiliating for them. But also because they lost multiple linebackers due to injury. During the game, they lost Nick Kwiatkoski, Cory Littleton, and Denzel Perryman at different moments.

It’s probable that one or both of them may be forced to sit out this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. They’ll need backup if that’s the case. Fortunately, a familiar face was waiting for another shot in free agency. Will Compton, a linebacker, confirmed his signing with Las Vegas on Twitter.

But along with that he also brought to light that his move to Las Vegas was not appreciated by all. Since Chiefs sensation, Patrick Mahomes decided to unfollow him, due to his move to the AFC West at such a crucial moment of the season.

There seems to be a tight competition in the AFC West table, and the coming few weeks will be the decisive games for the division. The Chiefs after balancing out on their defensive conundrum they are struggling on their offensive end. Patrick Mahomes is having the worst season of his career.

Speaking of the instability in the regional conference, the Raiders, who currently occupy the third spot in the table with a 6-6 record have a good chance to get back up. And Will Compton can be the answer for it.
