The popular speech delivered by President Theodore Roosevelt has inspired the title ‘Man in the Arena’. The title is something that just fits right in when talking about the enthralling career of the quarterback throughout those 21 years and counting, where he’s certainly owned many teams in the ‘Arena’.

Recently on Thanksgiving, we witnessed a nail-biting overtime thriller produced by Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. Although the partnership between Dak Prescott and Michael Gallup was a delight to the eyes, but New Orleans Saints won the game. The Cowboys had a defensive catastrophe.

Incidentally, the New Orleans Saints quarterback took to Twitter to express how much he resembled with Tom Brady as he called himself the “Man in the Arena”. The matchup between the two sides was definitely the most exciting game on Thanksgiving but at one point it seemed as if the Dallas Cowboys were the ones about to seal the deal as they pulled off an outstanding double-digit comeback in the fourth quarter of the game.

However, Derek Carr did shoulder his team when they needed it. As despite the loss of the star Raiders tight end Darren Waller in the second quarter of the game, he turned to his receivers to make some remarkable plays. However, the credit is shared by the quarterback Derek Carr and the receivers Hunter Renfrow and DeSean Jackson for leading the team in need.
