Green Bay supporters can now rejoice. Aaron Rodgers has agreed to stay with the Packers for a few more years. However, this raises questions about Jordan Love, the team’s backup quarterback. During the regular season, he stays in the shadows of A-Rod. But amid an unpredictable situation, he illustrates his desired purpose.

There was a lot of confusion concerning the Packers this offseason. There were reports that the team might make a deal for Love. But now that the heat dies, the QB1 and QB2 will remain at Lambeau Field this season. The future of Jordan Love is uncertain after the NFL MVP makes his highly publicized return as a Packer.
After trade rumors surrounded Jordan Love, he flared up like a lava flow. However, following the last revelation, the QB isn’t concerned about which team he will play for or how hard he will sit in the Green Bay Packers. The third-year gunslinger is solely focused on developing himself, rather than where his future lies.
Love was in conversation with Jason Wilde For the Wisconsin State Journal. He mentions, “I can’t control what’s going on. I have no idea what might happen. So rather than stressing about things that might happen, things that might not happen, I’m just here right now. I’ll take what I’m given and run with it.”

Rodgers states that he intends to end his career as a packer. But he did not show when that would be. Only if A-rod’s retirement is after the 2022 campaign. One would believe Love will be his forerunner in Green Bay’s offense.
Will Jordan Love deliver when the Packers need him?
When Aaron Rodgers skipped the voluntary workouts this year, Jordan Love came in to work with the first-team offense. Love took second-team reps, with the veteran returning for mandatory minicamp. He’ll miss another stretch of games unless A-Rod sustains an injury. The 2020 first-round pick sat out his rookie campaign and only played six games in his sophomore campaign. When Rodgers was out due to COVID-19, he struggled throughout his only beginning.

Other Green Bay players have observed the changes in Jordan Love’s competence and signal-calling dynamics in recent weeks. Love has regained his “
swagger,” according to Packers RB A. J. Dillon, who also likes the QB’s novel approach. Rodgers didn’t show his capacity until the third year of his career. While Brett Favre sat out of the postseason, Aaron Rodgers put in his time. There’s still a potential that QB Jordan will showcase his impact this summer, but that’s subject to observation.ADVERTISEMENT
