The Philadelphia Eagles scored another win against the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 20-17. The Eagles are at the top in the NFC East. This season is the third time when Philadelphia is 5-0 at the start of a season, the other two being in 1981 and 2004. Despite emerging as the undefeated champion till now, the talented QB, Jalen Hurts, does not want to get ahead of himself.

The fourth quarter of the game put the Eagles in a fix. With less than 10 minutes left in the game on Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals tied it at 17-17. The Eagles were playing a difficult road game, and their perfect start was in jeopardy. The Eagles fought a lengthy and arduous drive to gain the lead in the fourth quarter. They subsequently held on to a 20-17 victory despite Arizona’s missed field goal try from 43 yards out.

But the perfect win was not enough to satisfy Jalen Hurts. Maybe the QB does not want to get too happy too soon. He said, “We’re a really good football team. But we’re still growing. We’re still learning. We haven’t played our best yet, so it’s just a ton to learn from. I’m hungry and eager to get to that point, but it’s a process. Rome wasn’t built overnight.”

The 24-year-old does not want to hear the undrafted score of 5-o because he is just not satisfied. Even though the game maker may go 50-for-50 in 50 touchdown passes, Hurts will find something to criticize about his gameplay. Not that the First Team All-Big 12 athlete does not enjoy his sweet victories, but he wants to push himself and his team to new limits.

Hurts led his team to glorious wins against the Vikings, the Detroit Lions, the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Washington Commanders. No doubt he’s an exceptional QB. But can he lead his team to the Super Bowl?

The Eagles have a pretty easy schedule to follow for the rest of the 2022 season. The team will play against the Cowboys twice, Houston Texans, and Chicago Bears. With a powerful QB and an impressive defense, the team can easily reach its destination.

Against Arizona, Hurts completed 26 of his 36 passes for 239 yards, no interceptions, and no touchdowns. One problem that arises is this: although the Eagles are 5-0, they haven’t truly played a full game yet. They have only managed to rack up 29 points after the break, the third-fewest in the league, and only one fourth-quarter touchdown.
