Derek Carr has not had the greatest season this year in the NFL. His form led to him being benched the later part of his season and marked for a trade. Carr came up with ordinary numbers this season for his team. He only covered 3522 yards with 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Last month the QB posted an official statement last month for his exit from the team.
The QB confirmed his departure at the Fresno Alum where he said, “We certainly have been on a roller coaster in our 9 years together. From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful and appreciative of the years of support you gave to my family and me. We had our share of both heartbreaking moments and thrilling game-winning drives, and it always felt like you were there next to me. It’s especially hard to say goodbye because I can honestly say that I gave you everything I had, every single day, in season, and in the off-season.“
Evidently, the best performance he put up this season came at the Pro bowl, as it was termed too late and pointless by fans.
