“Puttin All the Lames on Ice”: Amidst All Jokes and Criticism, Wife Ciara Reminds Haters That Russell Wilson Is Winning in Real Life

The Denver Broncos lost against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football by a score of 12-9. And as expected, Russell Wilson and his team became the target for many to poke fun at. Many fans who attended the game felt bored and left the Empower Field. Under such scrutiny, the pop-star wife of Wilson decided to hit back at haters and reminded everybody that although the number 3 lost on the field, he wins life off the field.

The ‘Level Up’ singer turned the head up on an Instagram post. She wore a skin-tight black catsuit that made her waist look snatched. Cici donned cool shades while throwing shade on the audience. The Grammy-winning singer captioned the post, “Puttin all the lames on (ice emoji).” 

The post showed that even though things went awry on the field against the Colts, Wilson still possessed the invaluable trophy that is his beautiful and accomplished wife, Ciara.

An NFL analyst took a shot at Russell Wilson and his wife

Kyle Brandt, the host of ‘Good Morning Football’, pulled the Grammy-winning singer, Ciara and Russell Wilson‘s chain. “Russell Wilson shows up with his sunglasses and his wife, and I think they think they’re Jay-Z and Beyonce…You think you’re that cool and you’re that famous and you’re that amazing and everything is so perfect. That does not work in the locker room unless you’re really good or a really, really good guy. It just doesn’t work,” said the host about the Wilson couple.

He questioned if the Broncos QB is “authentic” or not. “I think Russell Wilson is a poser. I don’t think that makes him a bad person,  I think he tries to be something that he’s not.”

Brandt proceeded and explained that because Wilson signed a blockbuster contract worth $245 million, he either has to be a stellar athlete or a jolly guy who everybody loves. The television host then named famous QBs. Tom Brady “makes half of what Russell is making” and is the NFL GOAT. Also, everybody like him on and off the field. Then mentioned Aaron Rodgers of the Packers. A-Rod is the reigning MVP. The host then talked about Patrick Mahomes, who is an outstanding athlete and adored by many.
