NFL Punter Matt Araiza has been under the scrutiny of fans since getting cut by Buffalo Bills earlier this year. The 2022 sixth-round pick was alleged to have been involved in a series of misconducts. The final investigation reports claimed that he is innocent. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old issued a statement expressing the thrill of resuming his career.

Araiza played college football for San Diego Aztecs and stepped foot into the NFL world through the 2022 NFL draft. Just two days into his induction with the Bills, the franchise broke ties with the Punter. This was due to his alleged involvement in sexual misconduct that took rounds of social media.

Meanwhile, the San Diego Police department investigated the case. After nine months of analysis, taking account of 35 witnesses, DNA results, and ten search warrants, the NFL star was found innocent. The civil lawsuit against Araiza claimed that the suspect wasn’t arrested, and no proceedings were taken against him, despite lodging a formal complaint.

As per the reports and final inputs put forward by the higher authorities, Araiza has been issued a green signal. The Punt God looked thrilled to announce his innocence to the outside world and vowed to resume his career.

“I am grateful that the District Attorney and the San Diego Police Department have discovered all the facts and found no criminal wrongdoing. I am excited to continue my NFL career,” he said, via Ari Meirov. Well, this took no time to catch the attention of fans who flooded the platform criticizing him.
