Ever since the couple started dating back in 2015, Russell Wilson has been head over heels. During a recent GQ interaction, Wilson even went on to reveal his greatest fear, and while many would speculate Wilson to be petrified of ‘losing’, the context was a pleasant surprise for his wife, Ciara.

Russell clarified that his greatest fear was losing Ciara, bringing about a huge smile on the Grammy winner’s face.

The couple decided to tie the knot just a year into their dating life. Now, parents of three lovely children, the power couple seems to be setting goals as their bond just keeps getting stronger by the day.

Russell’s $245 Million Gamble

Wilson has had a stellar career, however, the same cannot be said for the 2022 season. Having recorded the worst season of his career with just 16 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and a 60.5 completion percentage. His recent performance questions the legitimacy of his signing a five-year $245 million agreement with the Broncos, becoming one of the highest-paid QBs in the league.

Since then, Coach Sean Payton has taken over the reins of the Broncos locker room, and while many feel that Wilson would shine under Payton’s system, others view it as his audition year.

Matthew Berry of NBC Sports Edge described Wilson’s 2023 season as ” a one-year audition” under Payton’s new regime.

He went on to state, “There’s no way Denver can cut him this year, but next year, while the dead cap hit would certainly be bad, it could be spread out over two years and wouldn’t be franchise crippling,

Speculations of Wilson demanding a replacement for his Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll had emerged earlier last month. As per reports, Sean Payton was Wilson’s preferred guy. With Wilson having his wish fulfilled in Denver, it is time he reminds the world of his former self.
