Reigning NFC North champions, Green Bay Packers, started their 2021 NFL season on a sour note. The Aaron Rodgers-led franchise suffered an embarrassing 3-38 loss to New Orleans Saints in Week 1. They were subjected to immense criticism from the American media.
However, the Wisconsin-based franchise got back to winning way with a commanding win over Detroit Lions in Week 2. Aaron Rodgers starred for the home team. He threw for 255 yards with 4 passing touchdowns.

Speaking to the media after the 17-35 win over Detriot Lions, Green Bay Packers HC Matt LaFleur spoke about how his team showed impressive character to bounce back from their previous setback in Week 1.

“Well, I thought the second half was pretty nice when you outscored an opponent 21 nothing in the second half. It was pretty tight in the first half and I thought our guys responded well and showed up in the second half…I’m just really proud of our team and just the resiliency they’ve shown and you know, it’s tough when you get kind of criticism handed to you the week before and I thought they responded well.”
“We’re gonna have to do that earlier in the game against really good football teams coming that we have in front of us. And we’ve got a big game coming up Sunday night against a really good team, one of the premier teams in the National Football League and our guys are gonna have to we’re gonna have to start a much faster,” coach LaFleur said after the game.
