The head coach joked he wanted the running back on his squad ever since he coached him in college. Carroll was the head coach at the University of Southern California, and Adrian played for his team. “We didn’t get him back in the day, but like I just told him, we finally got him.”

Peterson was recently let go by the Tennessee Titans just over a couple of weeks ago. For the Titans, this season, he made a touchdown in three games and ran 27 times for 82 yards.

The Seahawks’ injury list has been piling up recently. They just lost their running back Chris Carson because of a neck injury. He will not be able to play for a year. Their other running backs, Rashaad Penny and Travis Homer, are out because of injuries as well.
