Maxx Crosby has been a rockstar for the last two years. And as the Las Vegas Raiders have gone through a tense period, the team would appreciate this positive step. The team has historically been a defensive-first team and their ‘defensive QB’, Maxx Crosby is its prime example.

Maxx Crosby is a cerebral and strong defensive player. His personality and style of play are on-brand with the Raiders. The 24-year-old DE is a top-notch leader, a fierce competitor, and always improving.
Last year, with 100 plus pressures in the season, the ace Defensive End made it to his first Pro-Bowl. And won the Pro-Bowl’s defensive MVP. The 106th pick overall, Crosby had 10 sacks in his first season, seven the next year, and added another eight last year.
Maxx Crosby Is A Fighter
Crosby is already putting up numbers comparable to defensive powerhouses like TJ Watt and Super-Bowl Winner Aaron Donald. But off the field, his journey was not as successful. Crosby struggled with alcoholism when he started in the league. And so, he entered himself into a rehab facility two years ago. Since then, the DE has worked on turning it around every day.
“I want to be of service to other people going through whatever they’re going through right now,” Maxx Crosby told the media.

He added, “It’s crazy. My fiancée sent me a picture [of myself from] two years ago today … the look on my face and how much different I looked, I didn’t even recognize that person. But just two years later, I have the ability to not only take care of myself forever but my kids and my dogs. I came from a tough situation, but I just want to show people there that anything’s possible if you put your mind to it.”

But with a new coach on the block, a happy and compensated DE, and a team that has something to prove this season, these are all hopeful signs for the Raiders’ future.
New Head Coach Josh McDaniels said, “His work ethic and leadership are unmatched and we’re thrilled that he will continue to be an important part of this organization for years to come. It’s an exciting day for Maxx and for the Raider Nation.”
