The Seattle Seahawks had a rocky run in 2021-22. When the offseason began, the franchise was under several media rumbles of a revamp. It led to the Russell Wilson-Seattle Seahawks breakup, which hit the people like a high-magnitude earthquake. Although, if the followers note the situation, it has a tangled similarity with the Tom Brady-Patriots split.

ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington explains the rapport between Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll seems similar to Brady and Belichick. It led to the QBs taking a step and moving out from their beloved teams. Multiple reports indicate a schism between the quarterback and the head coach, which existed for both DangeRuss and TB12.

Darlington mentions, “The comparison that I would make here is to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick,” Darlington said. “And not just last year. The relationship last year between Belichick and Brady we thought needed to go through marriage counseling. That relationship was already dead. But they had spent years before that dealing with some frustrations. Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson are now, in my opinion, going through that phase of their relationship. They can bridge this gap if they can find a way to sit down and hammer this out. The one caution I’d have here, though is that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick had Robert Kraft to sort of step in and mediate. I don’t know that Russ and Pete have that guy.”

Eventually, Tom Brady left the Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to reports, he no longer consented with Belichick. Russell Wilson, on the other hand, waives his no-trade clause and heads to the Denver Broncos. He, too, was probably tired of playing for Carroll.

It could be a new start for Wilson, who is giving it all to the team. Nathaniel Hackett is also helping him develop the offensive party as well. He can draw on his expertise coaching in Green Bay to help him progress his new signal-caller to the system and workforce.
