Prime Time Coach Offers This Cool Gift to Hospital Housekeeper, After Second Successful Surgery in 27 Days: “Much Love Sis”

Deion Sanders has had a turbulent time in the past few weeks when it comes to his health. The Colorado Buffaloes HC underwent two surgeries within a month to address the complications he faces in his legs. The complications began for Coach Prime after surgery to repair a dislocated toe back in 2021. This also led to Sanders losing two of his toes, as they had to be amputated for his own health.

And now, Deion Sanders is in the process of recovering from his most recent surgery. As a token of appreciation for the hospital staff who took care of him, Sanders offered a very cool gift to one of the staff, which she values significantly. 

A heartwarming gesture by Deion Sanders

Despite the turbulence of his life, Coach Prime always carries a positive personality. His positive outlook towards life is the reason many tune in to listen to words of wisdom from Deion Sanders on social media. As the 55-year-old Buffaloes HC continues his recovery, his hospital staff by the name Julia Smith took to Twitter to thank Coach Prime for the thoughtful gift he bestowed upon her.

In a tweet that Smith posted, she talked about how she was the housekeeper when Coach Prime was in the hospital. She went on to give her heartfelt appreciation to Deion Sanders for gifting her a wristband. For Julia Smith, this gift carries a lot of value, and to receive it from a former NFL star is even more heartwarming for her. She went on to bless Sanders, stating, “May the Lord’s favor be with you through your recovery.” Coach Prime commented on the tweet saying, “Much love sis.”

After undergoing surgery last month, Deion Sanders had another surgery to remove blood clots from his left foot a few days ago. 

Coach Prime’s journey through pain

Ever since the complications stemming from his surgery back in 2021, Deion Sanders has been through a lot of pain in his left foot. After undergoing surgery last month on his left leg to evade the risk of amputation, Sanders had two more surgeries on Thursday. This time, it was to remove another blood clot on his right leg. The surgery also included a procedure to straighten two of his toes on his left foot to help prevent future pain. His family has been by his side as he continues his road to recovery. Sanders’ girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, took to Instagram, to share about the success of the second surgery that took place within a month of the first one. She shared her gratitude for all the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who took care of Coach Prime, and also to all the fans who kept Sanders in their prayers.

As Sanders continues navigating life through his health scare, fans will now also be waiting in anticipation to see how he leads the Buffaloes in his debut as the HC of Colorado this season.
