The injury bug bit the Arizona Cardinals hard on Monday Night Football. The Cardinals QB Kyler Murray left the field against the New England Patriots with an apparent knee injury. And the news has the NFL fans worried. They joined an ex-NFL QB to pray for the young signal caller.

Murray left the field just three snaps into Monday’s game as the NFC West continues to pile up QB injuries.

The NFL world is all in prayer

After Kyler Murray left the game against the Patriots with an injury on Monday, Ex-NFL QB Robert Griffin III sounded concern on social media. He sent his prayers the young QB’s way through a tweet.

The NFL world joined in praying for the Cardinals quarterback, whose injury may potentially mean the end of the season for him. This fan hoped the injury was nothing serious.

Another fan pointed out that almost all QBs in NFC West are injured.

In recent weeks, three of the four NFC West franchises have lost their starting QB till the end of the season. Before Murray’s concerns, the Los Angeles Rams lost Matthew Stafford due to a spinal cord contusion. And the San Francisco 49ers lost Jimmy Garoppolo to a foot injury.

Kyler Murray injury update 

The Cardinals QB Kyler Murray left the Patriots game on a medical cart after suffering a non-contact knee injury. The incident happened on the third snap of the game. Murray went down after a rush play for a gain of three yards. The Cardinals first listed him as questionable to return. But they later ruled him out of the game after examining the extent of the damage.

According to reports, Murray will undergo further examination later. But the Cardinals are concerned about the serious nature of the injury.

“It’s tough. You hate to see that,” Kliff Kingsbury, the Cardinals head coach, reacted to the injury during the game. He said that his players would have to get behind their backup QB Colt McCoy, indicating that Murray might be in for a long absence.

The Cardinals lost the game 13-27 against the Patriots. They are now with a 4-9 overall record after week 14. And with Murray on the sidelines, it is not going to be easy for the franchise.
