On Saturday night, NFL fans witnessed a wild game in the Wild Card round in the playoffs between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars came back from a 27-0 deficit and won the game in the final seconds. The result of the game did little favors for a lot of bettors. According to business reporter Darren Rovell, one bettor bets $1.4 million on the Chargers when they were up 27-0 in the first half.

Certainly, this did not end well for the bettor as the Jaguars made a miraculous comeback. However, the fans on social media absolutely tore the bettor apart for betting this much money.
NFL fans react to a bettor losing $1.4 million after the Chargers vs. Jaguars game
Notably, it looked like a low-risk and safe bet for the bettor because the Chargers were so far ahead in the game. The bettor would have gained only $11,200 as the payout was -12500.
However, the Chargers had a terrible second half, as they scored only three points in the entire second half. Fans on social media could not believe the bet, as one person on Twitter decided to pray for the bettor.

Notably, the bettor is probably blaming the Jaguars’ quarterback Trevor Lawrence, as his amazing second-half performance put his side through to the Divisional Round. He had four interceptions in the game; however, he made amends in the second half, scoring 4 overall touchdowns in the game. In the end, Riley Patterson scored a 36-yard field goal to seal the victory over the Chargers by 31-30.
The Jaguars will face the Chiefs in the Divisional Round
Certainly, the confidence level will be high for the Jaguars after the comeback win in the Wild Card Round. On the other hand, the Chiefs got a bye in the first round after clinching the overall no.1 seed in the AFC division.
