Stefon Diggs’ preparations for their game against the Packers began much before the kickoff. The Buffalo Bills wide receiver was seen getting in the head of Packers’ cornerback, Jaire Alexander, as both teams headed out of the tunnel for their pre-game warmups. Diggs’ heckling caught quite some buzz post-game, and fortunately for him, he had the last laugh.
Younger brother and Cowboys’ Cornerback Trevon Diggs also took to Twitter to acknowledge his brother’s pre-game chirps. In a well-contested game, Stefon helped his team beat the Packers.

Stefon Diggs has the last laugh
Diggs recorded a game-high 6 catches and 108 yards, completing an impressive 26-yard touchdown in the process. The WR didn’t show much interest in the chatter around his altercation with Alexander. He said it was the most talking he had done with another team and continued to show how his game does all the talking needed.

“I’m going to continue to be a leader, and I’m going to lead by example. And I’m not going to get pushed around by nobody.” Stefon said in an interview with ESPN.
His performance also meant more than just a dub for him. He is now rubbing shoulders with Bills’ legend Elbert Dubenion. He is the first player since Dubenion to record 100 yards and a touchdown in three straight games for the Buffalo franchise.
This performance also means that Stefon Diggs has the most touchdown receptions this season and is tied with Travis Kelce of the Chiefs at 7. It’s easy to note who was the ultimate winner of that pre-game banter. Other NFL players should also be careful and not rile up this in-form powerhouse.
Brothers in Arms
Trevon’s indirect jibe at Alexander through his tweet shows the love there is amongst the brothers off the field. While on-field performances matter most, players take pride in off-field comments and banter with each other. It sets a tone for the game and is just more motivation for them to level up. It also keeps fans engaged. As long as it is healthy, it brings the best out of these players.

The two brothers are a part of a trio of three brothers. Their other brother is also a football player but currently plays in the NCAA. Trevon is the youngest of the lot and was drafted in 2020 by the Dallas Cowboys.
Stefon is doing all the right things to set a tone for his younger brothers as he is making his mark across the league. He is also the big man of the house as he took it upon himself to take care of his brothers post the passing of their father. It’s easy to say he has done a heck of a job, as both his brothers are on track to be top athletes.

Unfortunately, both brothers won’t face off in the regular season. However, Trevon’s Cowboys will take on Alexander’s Packers on November 14th. As Trevon’s tweet sets the tone for the game, will the Diggs brothers go 2-0 against Jaire, or will he call it level and shut down The Cowboys’ offense?
