According to a poll, people living in Texas liked Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban more than they liked Jerry Jones. It came as a surprise because the Dallas Cowboys are the pride of the state of Texas. Without Jones, it wouldn’t have been possible.
In 2020, when asked about Jerry Jones, 23% of people in Texas thought favorably of him, 33% thought unfavorably, and 27% had no opinion. 17% of the people didn’t even know who he was.
On the other hand, when asked about Mark Cuban, 36% thought favorably of him. 27% thought unfavorably, and 26% had no opinion of him. Surprisingly, 11% didn’t know who he was. The Dallas Mavericks owner has also done a lot for the community and his franchise on the upward trajectory.
People of Texas disliking Jerry Jones could have been due to many reasons. Some of them might have been young Dallas Cowboys fans that haven’t seen any success from their team. The younger generation might think Jones causes every problem for the Cowboys on the field.

Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys aren’t the only NFL team from Texas
One of the reasons why Jerry Jones didn’t receive many votes in his favor might be because of the Houston Texans fans. They are also part of the state of Texas and haven’t achieved success similar to what the Cowboys have.
As a result, it might be possible that many Texans fans voted against the Cowboys’ owner. With or without their support, Jerry has been able to build a franchise that is respected worldwide. Even though they haven’t had much success in the field lately, their market value is continuously rising.
