Life without Tom Brady is an unimaginable situation for the Buccaneers right now. However, there will be a time when the franchise will have to answer this question. Finding an appropriate talent to fill his shoes would be a difficult job, but guess what?

Analysts have started making their predictions. According to them, the 6-foot-2, 213-pound prospect might get selected as the No 23 overall pick.

Tom Brady’s departure is expected to create a big void inside the locker room. Despite playing at 45, the quarterback has proved to be a phenomenal asset. Last season, Brady won a Super Bowl title for the franchise and changed its landscape. Now the athletes are desperate to play alongside him.

According to the analysis put forward by Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports, the Bucs might target the University of Oregon’s Bo Nix in the 2023 NFL draft. “Nix feels like the type of quarterback who’ll ascend boards during the pre-draft process because of his athleticism and arm talent,” said  Trapasso. The only concern that sidelines him from being a prime target is his inconsistent results.

Nix started his collegiate career with the Auburn Tigers and won the SEC Freshman of the Year honors with a 9-4 record. He played for three seasons with the side, and two of those campaigns proved terrible for the quarterback.

Thereafter, he shifted his base to the University of Oregon for the 2022 season. The youngster impressed the fans with 27 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns. “To go along with his ability to make plays with his feet, Bo Nix has the arm strength to take the deep shot on a regular basis,” John Blair of FanSided said.

“This arm strength also allows him to throw despite not having the most sound fundamentals especially when it comes to keeping a solid base,” he added. Thus, fair to say, Nix might receive the opportunity to become a true franchise quarterback for the Buccaneers.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is a man who loves to go day by day without any future commitments. No doubt, he is a hungry wolf defying those age barriers, but that very attitude seems to take a toll on his physical health.

While speaking in an interview, Brady mentioned that the end is near and could be anytime in the near future. “Obviously, there’s a chance [I don’t join Fox for 2-3 years]. But I’m very close to the end.” Brady said.
