Heading into the eighth week, Tampa Bay looks like the side to beat. In their first seven matches of the season, they racked up six wins which take them to the top of their divisional rankings. For the first six matches of their season, Antonio Brown had a major contribution before his unfortunate injury.
Brown missed Bucs’ last match against the Bears but was expected to return this week. However, recent developments have surfaced which put a completely different light on his injury severity. It looks like the wide receiver will be out for several weeks.

For the time being, it looks like Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may have to manage without Antonio Brown for a while. This will be a tremendous blow for the Bucs as he is averaging a team-best 14.4 yards per catch. According to head coach Bruce Arians, the wide receiver has an ankle sprain.
As reported by reliable NFL journalist Rick Stroud, the Bucs coach couldn’t go into the minutes of the injury. Despite the issue being an ankle sprain, the location of the injury, as per Arians, is “around his heel”. Moreover, the head coach also indicated that there’s no way to know how long Brown will be out.
