NFL franchise Philadelphia Eagles were working on bringing back a cult hero as they were pondering former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Nick Foles. The former Super Bowl LII MVP was in close contact before signing with the Indianapolis Colts as a backup behind QB Matt Ryan. Recently, Foles was cut by the Chicago Bears, leaving him as a free agent, and the Eagles looking to recruit him.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, before signing his 2-year contract with the Colts, Foles was considering a homecoming back to Philadelphia. While his interest in coming back remains unknown, Foles will be looking to be a dependable No.2 in Indiana under head coach Frank Reich.

It leaves the Eagles with former Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew as a backup to starting QB Jalen Hurts in 2022.
