In the last NFL season, Philadelphia Eagles had one of the strongest defenses, and this year as well it looks promising. The Eagles have signed a one-year contract with the former New York Giants cornerback James Bradberry. The NFL Network Ian Rapoport had confirmed the $10 Million deal between the Eagles and Bradberry on Wednesday.

Before signing a deal with the Eagles, Bradberry played his last two seasons with the New York Giants. Unfortunately, Giants had to release James as there were some salary cap issues. Seeing the opportunity, the Eagles made a quick move to acquire James Bradberry and recently shared a Twitter update for their fans.

Eagles were looking to fill the empty position after their CB Steven Nelson left the team to join hands with the Houston Texans. They saw a great opportunity in Bradberry as he is currently at his peak form.

In the last two seasons, he has started 31 games in which he made 101 tackles, 81 solos, 7 interceptions, and defended 35 passes.  

James Bradberry to play along with 4-time Pro Bowl CB Darius Slay

The Eagles will be more than happy to pair Bradberry with their 4-time Pro Bowl CB Darius Slay. Eagles CB Darius slay too seems excited and welcomed his teammate by sharing the news of his arrival on his social media account.

The one-time Pro Bowl CB has also played 4 seasons for Carolina before joining the Giants. Since 2016, Darius and Bradberry have been the only two cornerbacks with more than 15 interceptions and 80 pass deflections. So, now one can only imagine what it is going to be like for the Eagles as the two Powerful cornerbacks play for their side.
