The Philadelphia Eagles suffered a sour defeat at the hands of NFC East opponents, Washington Football Team, in Week 17. But they had no one else to blame but themselves this time as Doug Pederson’s team suffered their 11th defeat of the season. What made things worse was Pederson’s handling of rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts in the second half.

The youngster was clearly having an off day yesterday due to which Pederson benched him in favour of third-string QB Nick Sudfeld. But that couldn’t prevent the Eagles from falling to a 14-20 loss against Washington.
In doing so, Ron Rivera’s boys made their way to the NFC East crown instead of the New York Giants. Former Super Bowl winner Eli Manning took to social media with a direct attack at the Eagles who appeared to ‘tank’ the game on purpose. But that did not sit well with Philadelphia Eagles DE Fletcher Cox.

Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones are two promising young quarterbacks with a bright future in the NFL. This war is far from over so watch this space for more.
