Furthermore, after retirement, the elite quarterback has still been in touch with football. His podcast with his brother has been booming. However, the quarterback was faced with a lot of disappointment.
The quarterback had a big screen project lined up. However, due to some misfortune, the quarterback missed out on a huge project. The Sherrif was crushed by the news and had no shame admitting it on a comedy show.
Peyton Manning misses his Netflix cameo

Manning had revealed that he is a huge fan of the Netflix show, Emily in Paris. He spoke about it while he was on Saturday Night Live. He spoke about the influence the captivating protagonist had on him and said, “But if I’ve learned anything from Emily, it’s to follow my passions and always be true to myself.” Furthermore, the quarterback had a rare chance to present a cameo of his own on the show and unfortunately, the Sheriff missed it.

The retired quarterback was almost heartbroken when he wasn’t able to appear in a cameo. He explained that he had planned a vacation to Paris with his family. Manning had especially planned the vacation for the show.
However, in a stroke of bad luck, the shooting for the 3rd season of the show was shifted to a completely different location. The star quarterback mentioned his distress about not being able to appear on the show and said, “was crushed about that and very disappointed that the cameo role they were planning for me never came together.” He also spoke about how Emily in Paris inspired him.

The Sheriff’s soft side
The famed and retired quarterback has always been someone who is in touch with his softer side. Even during peak football season, Manning only wanted to talk about the Netflix show. Furthermore, on the sad occasion of his teammate passing away, the Sheriff did not hesitate in voicing out his emotions. The legend has no issues being emotional on and off camera.
The sad fact of the matter is the quarterback would have been a great addition to the show. However, the stars did not align, and it wasn’t meant to be. The fans of the show and fans of Peyton Manning will just have to wait until the next season to see him on-screen with Emily.
