However, The HOF QB could not help but take a jab over Carrie Underwood at the expense of his co-host’s past comments.

The CMAs had Luke Bryan at their 55th annual award show for Country Music. The singer took a shot over Carrie Underwood’s husband, who took a stance for Aaron Rodgers. Peyton Manning did not hold back, either. During the 2022 CMAs, Manning kept it light-hearted but warned Luke Bryan not to make it happen again.

Peyton Manning pulls the savage switch

Peyton Manning mentioned, “Well, Carrie Underwood and I have a lot in common. We both work with Brad Paisley we’ve both been on Sunday Night Football a lot, and we’re both very nervous about what Luke Bryan might say tonight.” The crowd had a massive pour of laughter, and Bryan also seemed to be nervous about what he might say.

Later that night, the HOF QB asked brothers TJ and John Osborne if their mother forced them to work together. If that’s the case, he understands how they feel.
