Mac Jones had the most intriguing rookie career in the 2021 season of the NFL. The New England Patriots Quarterback outstripped all the other athletes of the draft section and carried the team till the divisional playoffs against the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots had a respectable run in 2021, but the Mac magic has just taken off.

Coach Bill Belichick has the vision of finding a talented athlete, and Jones is one of them. After stepping into the league, he gets his first offseason as a quarterback and will make full usage of it.

Mac Jones: An elite QB in the rookie season?

Mac Jones recently explained in a video posted on the Patriots’ social media channels concerning the strategies for his initial offseason as a QB. He expresses on heading back towards New England during that term as they have their own place.

As he finally gets to grasp some air, he will also figure out the ways to enhance his skills during his training period. The athlete hails his 2021 rookie season as ‘the longest year’ of his football career.

The Patriots QB is the newest entrant to the Pro-Bowl line-up after setting his 2021 stats with 67.6% of completed passes, had 22 touchdowns, 3,801 passing yards, and 13 interceptions in his 17-game career. The Patriots Drafted Mac Jones in the 2021 NFL Draft, being the overall 15th selection. Before heading to the NFL, he won a national championship with Alabama University in January 2021.

The Offseason Hustle

In a video uploaded by NFL on ESPN, the QB reveals he will spend his offseason being stronger and cleaning up his diet. He has a lot to give into his abilities and a lot more changes; be it from the playbook or the mechanic’s aspect before the next season arrives.

Jones also revealed his love for ice cream, but he needs to limit the intake and try to stay healthy, like the way they in the Patriots, who provides them with great food. He also needs to consult the team’s nutritionist Ted Harper to stay on the same page.

Mac Jones’ college-level experience was profitable in his rookie season, but he has some adjustments yet to make under the guidance of coach Josh McDaniels. He is setting himself as a better quarterback in order to connect better and win bigger.
