Jackson Mahomes has always been a polarizing figure among football fans. But he has got his backers too. His sister-in-law Brittany Mahomes has always supported him and probably is one of his biggest public advisers. Around three weeks ago, Brittany Mahomes was in the middle of a Q&A session with the fans. One fan asked her what she thought of all the people who hate Jackson, the younger brother of the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes. And Brittany did not mince her words one bit while defending her brother-in-law.
“They are ignorant. He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s—t about him. So it’s best to just shut up,” Brittany said that day.
Jackson might have got all the support from his sister-in-law, but in current circumstances, this message to the ‘haters’ hasn’t aged well. He has always divided opinions for his antics on social media. But his current situation may force even his fiercest supporter to wait for him to clear his name before saying many other words of backing. So what is the story of his arrest?
