The Cowboys have looked ridiculously impressive this season. Not only have the usual names like Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott shone this season, fresh faces have emerged, and they are taking the league by storm. Not only is he a menacing threat on the field, but he his stats are simply stunning. He has the highest interceptions in the league with eight, two of which he converted into six points. On the other side of things, Patrick Mahomes has thrown TEN interceptions, second behind Joe Burrow and Sam Darnold (tied for eleven). Of course, Mahomes had to warn the Chiefs’ offense about the threat names Diggs during a press conference.
“I mean, when you have that many interceptions, that means you know what’s going on. You have an understanding of what the offense is trying to do, so you definitely have to have an eye on him at all times. He’s going to wait for his opportunity and usually when he gets his hands on it, he ends up making the catch so definitely a great player, someone you have to pay attention to on every single snap and try to find ways that you can have success in either other places or on him in certain areas.”
