The Kansas City Chiefs have become one of the most creative teams in the NFL under head coach Andy Reid. And they showed that with a ‘snow globe’ play as they mauled the Las Vegas Raiders in their final game of the regular season. But not everyone liked the creativity shown by the Chiefs. Be as that may, the team QB Patrick Mahomes has silenced the critics of the play with his statement regarding the huddle.
The Chiefs clinched the top seed in the AFC with the Raiders win. And now, they are locked in for the divisional round of the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes has defended the unconventional huddle in the final moments of the second quarter against the Raiders. The Chiefs faced quite a backlash for the play, with many calling it disrespectful to the opponents. But that doesn’t seem to have deterred the Chiefs signal caller at all.
“We’ll have to come up with another one for the playoffs,” Mahomes said after the game.

The play resulted in a nine-yard touchdown pass from Mahomes to wide receiver Kadarius Toney. But the officials called it back due to a holding penalty on the Chiefs offense. The team went again, and Toney eventually got his touchdown to put the Chiefs 21-3 at halftime.
Coach Ried is known for his creativity all around the NFL. He has created a monster of a team during his 10 years in Kansas City. And nobody should be surprised if the Chiefs come up with another unconventional play to catch their playoff opponent off-guard.

The Chiefs are the team to beat this season. They have run over almost every opposition they faced throughout the 2022 regular season. And it remains to be seen who can stop them from going all the way to lift the Super Bowl for the second time in four seasons.
The Chiefs ended the season on the highest note possible with a big 31-13 win over divisional rivals the Raiders, away in Las Vegas. And such a margin at this point of the season speaks volumes about the strength of the Chiefs team.

Mahomes starred in the win with another clean display under center. He threw 202 passing yards and one touchdown without turning over the ball with an interception. But the team’s rushing abilities were at full display, with three touchdowns coming from the ground. And that will put whoever they meet next in two minds, whether to defend the pass or line up a run defense. Can the Chiefs make it all the way and finish their goals of the season?
