Breaking all those untouched records isn’t a new thing for the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Every time he gets on the field, either he scripts one or breaks them forever. One such record is waiting for the gunslinger while he faces the Seattle Seahawks this week.
Mahomes has almost secured a playoff berth this season, winning the division title. Meanwhile, he is on the way to the coveted MVP title, and the upcoming games shall prove as a platform to help him surpass the competitors.
Last week, when the Chiefs had a nail-biting encounter against the Texans, Patrick Mahomes snatched a last-minute 30-24 victory. All thanks to his accurate passes in the final 30 minutes of the game.

The former Super Bowl Champion didn’t throw a single incomplete pass and finished 20/20 with a pair of second-half scoring drives. All those accurate throws have now invited an opportunity to break the NFL record of 25 consecutive completions.
With almost 20 being successfully completed, in the last game, Mahomes only require six more to rewrite history and create a new record to his name.
Well, the weather is quite favorable for the Chiefs’ squad to make this happen. The Seahawks defense hasn’t done much damage so far this season. Their inability to stop tight ends and wide receivers from progressing will become an added advantage for Mahomes unless the Seahawks perform like an entirely different team.
A few weeks ago, the quarterback entered the elite club of recording most 300 passing yards in the first seven NFL games. The Texas A&M product completed his 37th 300-passing yards game and tied with the Dolphins legend Dan Marino. This happened during the Chargers game in Week 11.
Seattle Seahawks rattled by the Patrick Mahomes phobia
Even before the game had begun, the Mahomes mania took over the Seahawks locker room. Head coach Pete Carroll acknowledged his opponents’ abilities and admired the skill set of making unorthodox gameplays.

“You can’t rest,” Carroll said about facing Mahomes and the Chiefs. “Unique plays are available to him. It’s remarkable to watch. When they talk about the different ways he can get rid of the football, it really does come into play for him. Everything is available. He can be going this way and put it back over there and throw across his body, the no looks, and all that kind of fun stuff, but it’s really his overall awareness,” he added.
